Four Month Update

Time is seriously flying! I cannot BELIEVE Gianni is four months old tomorrow! He had a very busy month. Gianni was dedicated to the Lord at Bethel Church in Crown Point. It was a very special day and we had a small little get together at our house after the service. Grandma Shari was in full cooking swing and made some delicious creations and amazing cupcakes! Grandma Liz made some chocolate crosses and some sides as well. We dressed him like a vintage little baby and I was obsessed. But he really looked like a little pilgrim boy. All of the other babies were in cute modern outfits and I'm sure I won't live down his traditional baptism outfit.

Gianni also had his first Halloween. He was a little Mickey Mouse & a Dinosaur. Yes, he was two things because baby stuff is beyond cute and it's impossible not to go overboard. We did not go trick or treating because it was very cold and Gianni is just too young. We did take a bunch of cute pictures and visited Grandma Liz. Look at that cute face down below, I"M OBSESSED WITH HIM.

We also started decorating for Christmas a tad early. When the tree came in the mail, i definitely couldn't wait any longer. Gianni loves to look at the lights and colors. Here is a sweet little selfie of baby G. Gianni knows a bit too much about phones because we facetime Grandma Shari every day!

Baby's Christmas Selfie

Baby G is so strong and the biggest chunk around. He's 18.5 pounds and I don't know where he's putting it all. Mamma is getting tougher each day to keep up with this big man. He's wearing 9-12 month clothes right now. It's insane how fast they grow.

He loves his kick piano and smashes his legs into the keys repeatedly. He also uses the toy arch to whip himself around in a circle. He chats non stop ALL DAY LONG. To Mamma, to toys, to the carpet, to his toes, all he does is chat. He's very close to sitting up on his own but he can't yet, and mom has to hold this little back. He loves to put weight on his legs and stand up all day but mamas poor arms can't take it. So I put him in his Nemo bouncer and he loves that as well, he tries to eat all the fishies and chew them up. He has been teething and puts everything he can in his little mouth. I got him some little keys that go in the freezer and that makes a big difference when he's really cranky about his chompers.

He loves when we sing the head, shoulders, knees and toes song. He just discovered his little toes this week and it was hilarious. He grunts like a little man and grabs his little toes like it is the hardest thing in the world.

I waited until little G was in a decent mood to take a few photos on our couch to celebrate his 4 month milestone. He was a good little dude but serious and absolutely no big smiles. But when he does smile it's so contagious. Look at his precious little face below! Thanks for reading !
