Gianni's Favorite Things 9 Month Edition

You guys my kid is 9 months old ! It's insane to think I'm a mother of a child this old. Gianni has been making leaps and bounds since his cranio surgery. The last few weeks he started creeping and is now full on crawling and climbing through the house. I quickly ordered tons of baby proofing items off of amazon. I'm praying the baby gates work because he just discovered how to climb the stairs yesterday! I wanted to share some of his new favorite things from the last few weeks.

Anpei Lid

Anpei Comotomo straw : Since we started doing table food and pretty much do Baby Led Weaning, we introduced this straw top for Gianni. He loved his Comotomo baby bottles so we were THRILLED to be able to continue to use them in a way that would allow Gianni to handle the cup himself. This lid by Anpei is AMAZING. It doesn't leak, even when G throws it across the room. The Comotomo bottle itself is durable so the lid being tough and dishwasher safe is a huge plus. Gianni can hold it no problem and had success immediately after it was presented to him! I love that it comes with handles for him to grab and even a necklace in case you really don't want him throwing it to the ground. It's a very reasonable price around $13 and I definitely need to order a back up for when this is being washed. For being a primarily breastfed baby he really took to this straw cup. I'm really excited about it!

Fisher Price Baby Dome : It has finally been nice enough outside to hang out there with baby G. This Dome was given to us for my baby shower and we are so obsessed. Gianni is an active little dude and to be able to give him a safe space outside, while being protected from the sun, is really fun for him. He loves watching the neighborhood kids go by and especially loves watching the cars. We have spent HOURS outside with this little gem.

Joovy Spoon : I have been putting Gianni in this walker since he was about five months old. He really liked being upright and standing so it was perfect for him. After his surgery he realized he could take off any walk around the house. Now he basically runs through the house in it. I had to push our kitchen table up against the bar so he had a round track he could zoom around. He is a little too tall for it but he doesn't seem to mind and still enjoys the mobility. I took him outside in the driveway to walk but he was much too eager to walk into the road. It's easy to clean and entertains my dude for HOURS. It's a mom win! Special thanks to Grandma Shari & Grandpa Ben for the gift!

Fisher Price Walk Around Car : Santa brough Gianni this toy last Christmas and it was a huge hit. The sounds and noises it makes are not exceptionally annoying for the parents and Gianni loved the puzzles and activities inside it. Before he could crawl around he would sit in this all the time and now he can crawl in and out and even walk around it! We love it still and it's been a excellent learning tool for him.

Ingelsina Seat : We bought this for traveling but we ended up using it as our main high chair! G loves being up at the counter with Mom & Dad while he is eating. The chair does get rather messy but what can you expect with a little guy. It comes with a nice travel bag and it doesn't take up much space!

Ingelsina Seat & G's first Meatball Experience

Ikea Soccer Ball : This little gadget G loves to chase around the house. Its soft and cuddly but also fun for G to wrestle. He likes to push it around while he is crawling or while he is in the walker. Fun little toy that keeps him entertained for a while.

Fisher Price Snap Beads : These beads are awesome for Gianni's little hands. He can pull them apart and push them together. He waves them around and bites all the shapes. It's another great dexterity toy.

Never Touch a Dinosaur Book : We received this book from Aunt Lisa! Gianni LOVES IT. Each page has different textured dinos! The rhymes are cute too and keep G interested. He loves petting each one and feeling the difference textures. Such a cute little book!

I Love You Through and Through Book : We received this book from Grandma Shari! Gianni loves going through all of the body parts (hands, fingers, toes, ears) and touching each one as we read. It's a very sweet book for the littles learning !

Time really does go fast. Once this pandemic is over, we really want to take him for swim lessons at the YMCA! But it seems like outdoor walks & activities are the best we can do right now! Thanks for following along! Stay well!
