Since Gianni was our first baby, I really was completely unfamiliar with baby items in general. I scoured the internet, target and Pinterest to see what mammas were liking for their little babies. After a few weeks, a few favorites for Gianni and Mamma squeaked their way to the top of our lists. I'll link them all here for you to see!
Gianni's Favorite Things:
Dock-a-tot : This has been a saving grace since he was born. Gianni loved napping in this Dock, it was comfy and cozy and we literally use it every single day. Gianni actually has been getting a little too long for it, and the bottom unbuckles so he can get some more use out of it as he grows. It's soft and cleans up easy with the washable cover! It was definitely a win for us!
Finding Nemo Ocean Lights Activity Gym : This little gym does it all, tummy time and party time! Gianni loves swinging at the Nemo characters. Mamma pops him in here every morning and I get a good 20 minutes to clean up and make breakfast. The lights and sounds can be turned on and off if you need a musical break. It was even easy to take apart and bring along on our road trip up north.
FisherPrice Owl Sit Me Up Seat : This is Gianni's favorite little seat, it helps him sit up and he LOVES that. The seat is comfy and folds up easily for storage. The little toy rack comes on and off. The only downside is the little leg holes are a bit too small for Gianni's chunks. But he loves it non the less.
Tommee Tippee Pacifier : These pacifiers are amazing. I saw them on another blog and didn't realize that breastfeed babies can have issues keeping a pacifier. We brought these to the hospital and he took them right away. He even can take it out on his own when he doesn't want it anymore. There was no confusion and they are very easy to clean!
Comotomo Bottle : Gianni was completely fooled with this bottle and still is today. It's a lifesaver for a breastfeeding mom who needs a break. Daddy can feed Gianni while Mamma goes to the YMCA. These bottles didn't leak, easy to clean and the baby loved them. No weird gas or spit up was a problem either. I bought adapters on amazon to pump right into the bottle as well to save on dishes!
Little Unicorn Muslins : This brand of muslin is EXCEPTIONAL. It is so soft and cuddly! Gianni snuggles these little blankets all day long! They calm him down and are so breathable. He was a July baby and we could swaddle him right up and he was completely content. Love these! You can get them at target as well!
Mamma's favorite things:
Peg Perego Ypsi Stroller, Car Seat & Bassinet : I went back and forth on my stroller choice between this and the Uppababy brand. I went to see them in real life and quickly realized I wanted the Peg Perego brand. It was ,dare I say, luxurious compared to the Uppababy system. With leather handle bars and easy open & close features, I knew this one was the winner. I am so happy with my decision! Gianni started in walks with his bassinet and was comfortable as can be! The bassinet can sit up or recline for babies with reflux or if they just want to sit up. I also got a stand to use the bassinet at home. The car seat fits in the stroller too which is a GOD send for going to restaurants and trips. All in all, we are pumped about this stroller.
4Moms Breeze Plus Playard : I have this baby set up in my living room. It was PERFECT for changing our little guy in the early days and for naps with the attachment bassinet. I had a C section so this made everything much easier. It folds up in one easy pull tab and comes with a nice case for travel.
Babybjorn Bouncer : At first Gianni was a little too small for this bouncer but now that he is a little older, he is loving it. It folds up nicely for storage too which helps when you have one thousand baby items. I use this when I need to shower quick or make dinner! He is very content in it.
Cloud Island Sleep n Play : These little jammies are 3 for $12.99 and 100% cotton. They zip from the bottom so you can change you little one quickly without taking off all of their clothes. I'm obsessed with the patterns and they are always sold out on Target.com. If you can get them, GET THEM.
Peg Perego Siesta High Chair : Gianni does not like being far away from mommy right now, so that makes doing house hold things very difficult. This chair was a great buy ! It tilts back so a little baby can be up at counter height while you make dinner! Or you can lower it to have your little one sit at the table with you as well! It has wheels too, so I can swoop Gianni all around the main floor while I do things! Totally worth the high price tag!
Skip Hop Greenwich : This trendy little backpack is a lifesaver. I like that it is wipeable material &that it looks like a leather. It has tons of little pockets and the front pocket is large enough for my wallet and more diaper necessities. It has a foldable changing pad & it even holds my laptop. It is very roomy and I even store my Skip Hop Pronto right inside, so when we are on trips I can just bring the little wristlet into the gas station bathroom or change him in the car very easily.
