Breast-feeding, boogers, and big poop explosions, that’s what we’ve been dealing with for the last 12 weeks. But Gianni’s big brown eyes immediately redeem him from the dirty and revolting aspects of being a new mom. What is so amazing, is that he already interacts with us with noises, coo’s and facial expressions telling us his feelings, thoughts, especially when he really needs a nap. It’s so surprising when they’re so young they can connect with you and tell you what they want. He hasn’t even been here three whole months! Even though his time with us has been short so far I can’t imagine my life without him. His little eyebrows are always thinking and furrowed trying to understand his toys and what mama says his little face. It’s exciting when you get a smile even though he’s very serious, the smiles do show up eventually especially right before he spits up on you. Breakfast is not complete until your son sneezes on your avocado toast right before you take your very first bite. But baby germs are cute right?
