Transition to Modern MAMMA life.

Transitioning to motherhood was super relaxing until Gianni arrived. I was working part time so I had all the time in the world to organize and plan for baby G's arrival. Although we did not know he would be a boy, I still was happy to get all the gender neutral things ready for action! Even this impatient little old preggo gal made it 9 months without a gender peek and that is impressive if you know me ! I LOVE having things planned and organized, living in chaos was not my type of lifestyle. But boy has that changed now with little G around.

That might have been the biggest adjustment, living your life on the baby's not- so -scheduled schedule. The first weeks were insane and now at week 11 I feel like I can finally have congruent thoughts and a basic, flexible schedule that keeps my little team afloat. Baby Gianni's Arrival Announcement

While I tried to be as prepared as possible for baby G, I quickly found that in motherhood you need to be super flexible and basically throw the rules STRAIGHT out of the window. You can buy all of the fancy toys& gear and STILL be completely surprised with the whole glorious mess of motherhood. I'll make a post of my favorite gear that I've found later because there is some extremely handy and accessible mom gear that I'm obsessing over right now. Check out this great carrier below! It makes carrying my chunky 15 pound boy around A LOT easier.

Zach and I are still adjusting to the parenting life, but we aren't doing too shabby. We recently took Gianni on his first ever road trip. We just got home from a super vacation up in northern Minnesota! I can't wait to post the photos and tell you guys a little more about our first big family road trip!
